Jan 13, 2021· Vray 5 Displacement Material. 13-01-2021, 10:04 AM. Hi all, maybe I forgot something, but I'm not able to render any displacement at all!! Tried various tags options: bump material first, bump material last, all with and without "add material" option and at last tried bump material alone (since it has a base material parameter).

In this regard, how do I import VRay materials into Cinema 4D? Also, how do I apply VRay materials? Right-click on any material in the Material's list for a context menu to appear. You can apply the material to the currently selected object or to a layer. Use the Apply To Layer and select any layer to apply the material.

For Cinema 4D version R25. Make sure V-Ray is your Renderer. This is done through Render Settings > Renderer. Go to the Material Manager and from Create > Materials, select New Node Material. The Node editor opens and you can now work with all available V-Ray nodes. Alternatively, there is a V-Ray Node Materials option available.
