My suggestion is to pin the piece with a small diameter rod. Using a masonry drill (available at almost any hardware or home building supply) that is bigger than the metal rod drill a hole in both the head and the antler, mix the BONDO and fill each hole, insert the rod into the head, and push the antler on the remainder of the rod.
